BAPTISM
Catholics, who are expecting their first child, should contact the church during their pregnancy so that they may attend a class to help prepare them for their child’s religious upbringing. Classes are not needed during subsequent pregnancies. The deacon of the parish regularly performs baptisms. Please contact the church office at
(330) 747-8503.

FIRST RECONCILATION
&
FIRST COMMUNION
Students who are enrolled in the parish’s CCD program in collaboration with St. Columba are eligible to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion during the second grade. Children receiving Holy Eucharist for the first time often participate in the May Crowning. Please contact Deacon Michael Schlais, Church office (330) 747-8503, for more information.

CONFIRMATION
Students who are active in the final year of CCD or in the Youth Ministry program can receive their preparation for Confirmation at St. Stanislaus. Usually this sacrament is received during the eighth grade. After completing the program, including selecting and preparing with a Catholic sponsor of the student’s choice, the sacrament will actually be received at St. Columba, the cathedral of the diocese of Youngstown, along with candidates from other area parishes. Please contact Deacon Michael Schlais, Church office (330) 747-8503, for more information.

HOLY MATRIMONY
Engaged couples seeking a Catholic wedding ceremony should contact the church office, (330) 747-8503, to schedule a preliminary meeting with the priest. Couples are then partnered with a marriage sponsor couple who will meet with the engaged couple to help them prepare for this sacrament. Afterwards the couple will meet again with priest to make liturgical selections for the Mass. The bridal party will be expected to participate in the rehearsal the night before the wedding. There is a bride’s room available before the ceremony. Parishioners are also welcome to use the silk floral arrangements owned by the church for pew decorations and altar flowers (see photos of the Milush wedding). This also includes a decorative arch that may be placed at the halfway point of the aisle.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Family members of deceased parishioners should contact the church office to make arrangements for funerals, (330) 747-8503. While our pastor is available year round for these masses, Deacon Mike is only available on weekends and in the summer. There is no charge to use the church hall for mercy meals.

SOCIAL HALL RESERVATIONS
Parishioners may rent the social hall for their special occasions. This includes bridal or baby showers, birthday celebrations, and mercy meals. Please contact the church office for rates, availability, and restrictions at (330) 747-8503. Rates are dependent on how much is rented: the whole hall, the bar room, and/or the library. Only parochial school leagues have gym rental privileges.
